Pro Bono Realtime Captioning In Action

Toronto court reporter Kim Neeson and her team will provide realtime captioning/CART (Computer-Aided Realtime Translation) services at the upcoming Roundtable of Diversity Associations (RODA) 2nd annual Diversity Conference, in partnership with the Ontario Bar Association (OBA).

The Nov. 29 event aims to harness the ideas, energy and experience of talented lawyers who are committed to helping diverse lawyers advance in their careers. Topics on the agenda will specifically address the complex issues that diverse lawyers face, including implicit bias, discrimination in the workplace, and the impact of discrimination on mental health.

Panellists will share the strategies they have used to make partner, open their own practice, become a judge, succeed as corporate counsel, and build their professional support network and personal champions.
